Cardboard Connection's website has the release date of October 30th.

I asked Darren at Maple Leaf Sports late last week and he hasn't heard any updates on the release date.

It's a shame it didn't come out in late June as originally planned. I know it's not a widely opened product but a release date near the end of the regular season will only decrease the amount of interest in this product.

I checked a number of websites this morning and Breakaway Sports is the first with a revised release date of November 15th.

I was looking forward to breaking some this week. Upper Deck is shooting themselves in the foot on this one as it should have at least been ready in time for the Toronto Expo.

I checked with Darren at Maple Leaf Sports here in Calgary and he confirmed the revised November 15th release date.

I agree with Sensrock73 though, that this product might never see the light of day after almost a five month delay.

Here's hoping we're wrong!!

It’s really too bad they are dragging their feet on this set. I’ve noticed availability of 2016 cards doesn’t seem great either. Where do you guys buy from? I’m considering ordering a case of 2016 if I can find a decent deal.

Bad News for Antoine Pruneau is good news for CFL collectors. It sounds like the 2017 Upper Deck CFL product does exist!

Here's a quote from today's online Ottawa Citizen:

"D’oh! It’s happened again to Pruneau. In 2014, his rookie season, Pruneau’s Upper Deck card had his name and a photo of receiver Marcus Henry. This year, Pruneau’s name appears with a photo of receiver Jake Harty. Has to be good for the value, right?"

Poor Pruneau, with the 2017 release he will only have two cards and both of them will have the wrong photo on them.
