Well as alot of you know Upper Deck has problems with Quality Control and Redemptions ...I wrote earlier this year about the hideous series 2 box I got with 6 young guns and no game used in it ...was told Id be sent cards to make up for it ....I received a Alex Tanguay series 2 jersey card ....which I thought was honestly a joke .......I wrote to them again and was told that they are personally putting something together and it will be out eventually ....today I receive more JUNK flat out garbage......What is it that they feel the need to step on the everyday collector. I am not a big fish but Im still a fan and collector

What exactly were you expecting to get in return? You got shorted two jerseys, likely not worth more than $2-3 each. I'm not sure why you expect UD to give you something big to replace this. Besides, Tanguay was one of the better jerseys in series 2, be thankful you didn't get Tom Poti like most of us did in our boxes.

Who cares about the money, its about the cards. Everyone in the hobby only cares about the money. All he was asking for were his 2 game used that he didnt receive. If the average is 3 and he got none.. something is wrong.

They probably should have just grabbed another box and sent it to you... that would have been the easiest way to please you and the easiest thing for them to do...

I never hear anyone complain when they beat the averages.

Never have I seen a collector send back to UD the extra auto or gu?? It was two gu--I dont get your beef, they sent you a gu, they didnt have to--simply dont "gamble" by buying buying boxes, you'll be disappointed about 75 percent of the time.

Key word is average. Like Dherm said, if you pulled 5 game used cards back, would you contact Upper Deck to send 2 of those cards back. Didn't think so.

If everytime you bought an $80 box and pulled $100 worth of cards, UD wouldn't be in business very long.

You bought a lottery ticket, didn't win, and now you're complaining. What was the other "junk" that you received? If your total compensation package works out to more than you would have received in your box, then you've done well.

If UD had problems meeting the "average" odds posted on the box, then it should DO BETTER TO MEET THE AVERAGE, not deny collectors important information. I've talked with two different shop owners who share the same sentiment Topps, Playoff, and ITG seem to get it right most of the time and are usually willing to fix their errors when they are made; hopefully the marketplace will get a clue and make UD pay for its laziness...

Well I had this same problem with series one came out and I think on ethe same week that I did not get a single jersey and only have of the young guns that were stated on Average you had pulled one or two extra game jersey out of a box and told me it was all based on averages. So I hung my box up and moved on. Now you post complaining about a "shorted" box? What about the "Average" you told me?? Double standards..
