This is the first time I have requested a replacement and just have a few questions.

1) It says you can request 5 players. What would be some reasonable players to ask for? I am really only actively collecting Monahan and Gaudreau
so I would just want someone that would be easy to move if I couldn't get either of them.

2) How is Upper Deck for replacing with equal value cards/What should I expect?

3) How long does it take for them to ship out the replacements once your request has gone through?

The Tarasenko is live so chances are you'll get that card even if you ask for a replacement. I would ask for players you collect, maybe they have other Gaudreau or Monahan ' s to replace with. UD replaces based on BV so of your card books for $40 even if you paid $80 expect a $40 bv card in return. As for a time frame it's hit or miss. From my experience it's usually 6-8 weeks from the time you originally request the change. I also find asking over the phone preferable to email. Good Luck

Got my replacements back and am pretty happy with them.
