USPS/CP Customs Issues??

Three parcels all sent on January 7th are STILL stuck at customs...sent expresspost with signature (the only option to get signature when shipping to the US). Had to call and open two service tickets...they are sending me a cheque for one item and waiting on the other. I checked status of another expensive card out of curiosity in the same time period and sure enough stuck in customs...WTF??? Anyone else having issues sending items to the US from Canada?? I've sent many packages afterwards and they have already arrived.

I have sent quite a few packages Canada Post tracked packet to the US the past 2 months with no issues. The most expensive card was $350. Hopefully your stuff gets sorted out

I had one get stuck at customs never to be seen again. That was back in November I believe. No issues since then. Was a bit of back and forth with Canada Post but got my money from them since I had to provide a refund.

I don't use CP for US shipments anymore. I use Chit Chats. They deliver straight to USPS and clear customs for you. Much quicker and cheaper!

I was told by a canada post employee that they can not track anything outside of canada unless other places scan/enter in the tracking number when they receive it.
I have had items still say it was at customs, while I had it in my hands. The whole system seems junky to me.

That's reassuring to me as there are a few tracking numbers that still show it's at customs, yet I haven't heard from the customer (probably just jinxed myself). But, totally agree with your statement. I can't believe how much better the service is at Fed Ex!!!
