I'm digging this deal...Vernon Wells has not played the worth of this contract and while he's been on an upswing the last few years, he's simply not worth another $86 million. Hopefully they can either add someone else or hopefully Jose Bautista's 2010 wasn't a fluke.

To find someone to take one of the worst contracts in baseball is a win for the Jays. I'm really liking what Anthopoulos is doing. It will hurt in the short term, but there may be a light at the end of the tunnel for the Jays though. Good deal.
