Victory 08/09 break with BLACK

Stopped to pick up a box or 2 of hockey, but all they had was Victory. Figured i'd give it a look. Also picked up a couple football boxes and will post the breaks in a bit also.

I collect Sabres rookies, thats why the Gragnani is scanned. The Gold was Gionta. Rookies included Mormina, Foster, Greentree, Pelletier, Purcell, Conboy, Boyle, Ramholt, Plante, Lepisto, Vandermeer, Cavanagh, Fistric, McLeod, Wilson, and Filewich.

yes its the higgins, if you check the UD site, it shows the different color border for th gold parallel so the higgins shows the black border

You might want to contact cedoumit....he is a huge Higgins collector if I remember correctly.

That's a beaut. Nice that you got a hab too, as he'll probably command attention from someone.

Frustrating that they didn't take the time to serial number the parallel stuff. I mean, great that everyone knows there's approx 1 gold a box for now, but in 5 years time no one will know that the odds of a black card were 1 in 20 boxs (1:720 packs, 36 packs/box). It will hurt the cards staying value over time i think.
