How many games have you guys seen over the years that have been rebooted? Pac Man AGAIN is the latest with that Championship Edition Deluxe Hyper Fighting Super Turbo The New Challengers mode that just came out for XBox 360.

Sometimes it's nice to let a franchise die with dignity, but as we've started to see, game developers won't let that happen. Sometimes it works (NBA Jam,) and sometimes it falls flat on its face (Serious Sam, and all the Galaga remakes.)

So since gaming devs won't let the good things die gracefully, which franchises would you like to see rebooted? Let's say the franchise itself can't have had a game released for it in the last 10 years.

Me personally...I'd love to see the return of NHL 2 on 2 Open Ice Challenge. **** NHL Hitz with a hot poker, and then again with a salty lemon juice covered stick. Gimme NHL Open Ice Challenge or go home. EA tried to do it last year with NHL Arcade, but that was gaaaarbage. Get Pat Foley in the studio to do voiceovers again, and let's get this franchise up and going again.

It's been about 10 years since they released the purest form of Derby Owner's Club too come to think of it. The arcade version was great and I'd be fine seeing that again, but it would be amazing if Sega could release Derby Owner's Club breeding and racing for and over XBLA or PSN.
