Vintage custom set...I had a whale of a time developing this 68-69 OPC set!

I decided t put together an entire set of Hartford Whaler players (about 300 players) based on O-Pee-Chee's 1968-69 Hockey design. Here is the progress on the base set (which I will be updating regularly) and below the base set will be the Hockey Puck inserts and then the All-Star style cards....

Wow! Huge props to you sir! I've always wanted to get acquire a cut auto and have one of you technically advanced card-makers make me a custom card with said auto. Maybe 1 day!
 
I admit I have looked at this thread a few times and meant to comment but hadn't yet. Glenn, I LOVE IT. Seriously. So cool. 68's are one of my favorite designs. But I really love how you didn't stop at the base and continued to use the insert designs too. Just super cool. Thanks for the eye candy.
 
Fantastic stuff so far. Really like it.

Some great design interpretations.

The critical eye in me sees a difference in the Steve Alley name and double check the spelling on JS Giguere.

Beautiful set. Can't wait to see more progress.

Thanks, good critical eye. I had corrected the Alley already and will be mindful of the JS when I reconstruct it. All the cards you see above are now gone because my hard drive crashed prior to me completing my backup. I will have to start from scratch once I get my computer back and running.

Stay tuned.
 
Oh ouch!!!!!!!! That sucks.

Hopefully the enjoyment of making the cards trumps the fact you're doing it a second time.
