Come check it out, remember it's free to get in, very cool set up and easy to navigate. Support the wonderful hobby by checking it out!
Great discussion on the main stage with a grade from Beckett!

I realize that this is something new but some of the booth owners should have done a technical and familiarity checkout before this opened. Also the booths chat has been hijacked by others who are posting their own for sale details and links.

Personally I'm not a fan of the whole setup, though I will admit there's a very good chance that it's just because I prefer to browse through and let someone know if I like something, rather than have them show me stuff and ask if I like it.

Definitely a learning curve. I have found the main chat to have the most people spamming breaks and ebay sales. I think it would have been nice if they set up general chat rooms divided by sports and interests where the virtual "attendees" could gather to chat; a room for each of the big four sports, a non-sport room, a graded room, etc. I think that would have helped "clear the noise" in the main chat.

Overall, I like it so far. I have visited some booths, looked at some cards, and realized the mic on my laptops broken.

Okay, could someone give me a hand with navigating this. I have been on the main site, seem the list of exhibitors etc. but it is not totally clear to me how to find the view cards that the dealers are selling. I am definitely missing something.

Some dealers/exhibitors have a link at the top of their booth chat to a online photo gallery of cards, some are priced, some aren't. Others, when you first click into the booth have a link to a website, some of those are linked to photo galleries and eBay stores. Some exhibitors have a display set up and you can ask about certain cards, some have nothing set up at all and you have to ask and wait for them to dig it out cards you might be interested in. It varies by dealer.

On Wednesday's show, Jeremy's comments in the first 15 minutes pretty well sums up some of your questions.

Tried it and it’s not for me. Seen multiple dealers eating, talking on the phone, or not even online to answer questions.

Ditto for me. Tried it and very disappointed for the same reasons and lack of virtual showcases. I was looking to spend cash. An experiment gone wrong. Few dealers seem to care. This could have been a great showcase but fell flat. Never left a show so early.

Lots of the dealers aren't prepared but they will be next time. At least they tried. "experiment gone wrong" sure for glass half empty negative attitude people like yourself, for sure.

I'm having a blast. Done 20 deals already, but i have my booth set up well, as I've been told. It will be a learning curve and I'll argue did not go wrong. Your attitude however is wrong. But not a surprise.

Guys, this is the first time this has been attempted. And I can tell you from today's experience this has a ton of potential. But hey stay away if it isn't for you, there over 5000 other people in the event.

Here are a couple guys who "get it". Too many whiners in this thread so far. And vendors are starting to catch their stride now.

Hi Jeremy, I personally am enjoying this new experience. For me its all about perspective. If you look at this virtual expo as something that is brand new, then I think there is opportunity to enjoy it from the standpoint that we're sort of going through a historical moment in how we can do business and hold our expos. I think that transition is exciting.

Here's the thing. Why would you NOT want to experience this versus not having anything at all? Like seriously. Yeah, isn't the same, but this is definitely a success even with some to-be-expected kinks.

Jeremy kudos to you for being prepared. I did enjoy your dropboxs with the cards on sale. I like the fact you put more effort than just linking to your eBay store.
When I go to Expo I like to peruse the booths, to see something I like. And if I see something then I will inquire.

THIS IS AWESOME.
i got good feedback on my google photos and overall show experience.
I will do this again.
