This week started off with San Diego hosting Kansas City..

The Chargers took it 31 - 13.

Philip Rivers was: 18/20, 220yds, 2 TD's, 1 INT

Matt Cassel was: 19/29, 181yds, 0 TD, 1 INT

Looking forward to the Buc's vs Raiders at 2:00pm MST.

Quick Take: Wild-card hopefuls meet in Oakland

Why this game is intriguing: A matchup of two potentially (but not quite) relevant teams. Tough to write off either one at this point, despite what preseason perceptions might have been. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are coming off a thunderous, Thursday night win over the upstart Minnesota Vikings, having shown a national audience they can bring it. And the Oakland Raiders have won two in a row, elbowing themselves into the wild-card race. What makes this intriguing from an X's-and-O's standpoint is that the Bucs are allowing just 3.5 yards per carry, but the Raiders must effectively run the ball with Darren McFadden. Putting the ball in Carson Palmer's hands hasn't paid dividends for the offense. Will Oakland be able to pound it?

I was a little concerned at the half: Buc's 7 - Raider's 10

Three touchdowns in the third for Josh Freeman, Buc's 28 - Raider's 10

Buc's take 42 - 32 over the Raider's...

Josh Freeman: 18/30, 247 YDS, 2 TD

Carson Palmer: 39/61, 414 YDS, 4 TD, 3 INT :whatthehell:

Very happy with the Seahawks win. Sure they gave up 182 yards rushing to Adrian Peterson, but they held the Vikings to 63 yards passing. That does not suck. And Russell Wilson threw for 3TD's and no interceptions.
