Which product would anyone say is the best for your money. WIth the best odds of pulling something nice or even getting your money back. Either boxes or cases. I would like to here people input. Thanks Robert

I opened a few boxes this year and had the best luck with ud 2 so that would be my pick.

I as well as many others would say ITG Ultimate without a doubt in my mind. 1 box of ITGU will outvalue (yes its a new word) 2 boxes of UD Ultimate 99 out of 100 times

ok they look nice and all but lets ask a new question...lol Whats the best value product that is not super High end...lol
I dunno if i am just cheap or what but they are way out of my league.
Robert

If you want to stay under $100, I would say parkhurst. ICE is very good but huge hit or miss, if you hit a nice auto or a /99 jackpot, but there are 200 rookies or so. be prepared to see a rookie you will never hear from again :)

I would say that consistant value comes out of Beehive mostly... not a chance a a HUGE HUGE card, but still able to pull some $300 - $400 cards and probably 90% of the time you are getting your money's worth out of a box...

Thats my vote for best value...

I like Ice a lot but its super hit or miss... but theres definitely a LOT of nice pulls in there...

- Rookies /99 are super hot. Even the rookies /999 are very good.
- Signature Swatches fall 1 per case.
- Auto/Jerseys /35 are tough but super sweeet
- Patch /50 are 1 per case but all very sweet
- Auto/Patches /10 are super tough but their in there

Plus the Parallels /100 are some of the nicest cards UD has ever made. The cost (locally anyways) is $79.99 CDN a box so the chances of absolutely tanking are small

UD2 without a doubt. The Victory update rookies were a nice touch to give you a second shot at Ovy or a shot at Crosby (even if it is low end). Further, the plates, patches, rookie ink, etc. showed up often enough, and with Ovy YG at a reasonable insert ratio, there was definitely more value than any other product this year. Also, you have to remember with Ultimate or something high end, a box of that in price is equal to a case of UD2, so to just compare boxes of the two is not fair. Compare a box of Ultimate to a case of UD2. Definitely get more out of UD2.

My vote is on Beehive at these price levels. You have the chance to pull a nice auto and putting a set together won't involve the selling of your first-born

I think about 50% of the equation is how much you pay for the boxes/cases. There are some great deals out there for Ice, Fleer Hot Prospects and Beehive since some distributors are trying to blow out their inventory. Others like SPx, Trilogy and Black Diamond are great products if you can find them at the right price. I guess what I am trying to say is your "value" is not just based upon what you pull, but just as much on what you have into the boxes/cases. Mike

Edit- I would personally stay away from UD2 because of all the damage to the Young Guns and Victory RC's.

Hence the Twice+ amount of money it costs ;)

I really liked Ice... but as the others mentioned, hit or miss... but your almost ALWAYS guaranteed to get at least your share of BV back, with 5 rookies per box (even most of the crap level 4 /2999 are worth around $8, and i had a couple boxes with 6-8 rookies) and the 3 memoribilia cards, you wont get completely kicked in the nutz.

I vote for 05-06 Beehive... attractive cards, good price point for a box, nice secondary market price on singles.

Very important to me, and another one of the things I liked best about this set was that parallels were not merely the base card with a number stamped on it, but truly a different design and photo.

Michael.

PS... IMO, Beehive was the best of 2003-04 as well. Still trying to finish off a "master set".
So for my box purchase dollar, I hope UD continues this brand into the future.
