What are te Lakers chances next season?

Whats your opinion,
I believe they will miss the playoffs again. Drafting Andrew Bynum will turn out to be a mistake..trading a quality talent like Caron for Kwame Brown makes them worse and Lamar Odom will either be suspended from smoking dope or hurt. No firepower to go along with Kobe and no free agents on the radar makes LA a grim situation for years to come.

If they make the playoffs then it will be another major achievement for Phil Jackson.

Of course they won't make the playoffs. Jackson is good, but he's no miracle worker.
Who's gonna be their starting PG if they trade Atkins? And I doubt Luke Walton will stay so if they trade Devean George they'll have trouble at the SF spot as well.

What the departure of one man can do to a team.. =)

they are really going to have to start from scratch and build around their chosen one, might have a difficult time attracting free agents. One plus they do have is they play in LA and the franchise history

I think lakers could make playoffs this year. Kwame will be better in his new enviroment. And we will probably get Antonio Daniels or Marko Jaric since we let go of atkins. Odom will be more productive because he is SF and dosent have to play PF. We have a good lineup and im excited

We will have a good team. Even though I'm disappointed with the loss of Butler, our roster will look somewhat like this:

PG- Daniels/Sasha
SG- Kobe/J. Jones
SF- Odom/George/Walton
PF- K. Brown/Cook/Grant/Turiaf
C- Mihm/Divac/Bynum

I don't expect anything out of Bynum and hopegully we can unload Divac somewhere. I think Grant has one year left, and that will be a good riddance in a year.

Yeah Divac just announced that hes gonna retire and we are probably gonna release Grant so that in 2 years we will have a chance for Amare or Yao but i doubt it

Thats your idea of a good team? You have absolutely nothing in the post and Daniels is not even on LA yet, if he even goes there. I heard he may go to Portland. The Lakers have decreased in talent and will win 35 games if Kobe is not injured.
