I have been a collector for sometime, but have never bought or looked into having cards graded.

From what I have read in the past, most people prefer PSA over KSA. However, I have also heard stories of PSA having issues with grading cards that were trimmed in the past as if they were not. As I live in Canada KSA seems to the company in Canada.

However, what about BGS or BVG?

I am looking also at a Gretzky OPC rookie and I see that PSA prices are much higher then BVG or KSA. An 8 would be nice, but 7's are more the likely option.

Looking to see what people's thoughts are on this?

PSA for the Gretzky for sure.

As for a Canadian grading company check out the post from yesterday about MNT. Great turnaround times and case. Not going to get you the same bump for resale but neither will KSA.

Do not let Beckett grade any older OPC card. They do not properly account for the OPC rough cut, and you're card will get a much worse grade than it deserves.
