Centers are more plentiful, but top flight wingers aren't. I'd take Ovechkin, Heatley, maybe even Kovalchuk over a center any day.

While I may agree taking AO before Crosby, you should build around a playmaker. Crosby makes everyone around him better, so you could put some semi-star people around him and still have a good or even great team by what he brings to the table. Just my 1 1/2 cents

Honestly guys... we ALL know that the Cup is won with a superstar goalie between the pipes... why would it take THAT many picks to pickup Luongo or Brodeur? Crazy... sure Crosby, AO, etc would be huge to build a team around, but if I was a GM in that draft, I'd have my goalie tied up first.

You would be FIRED instantly Everybody here knows that Crosby will fill the seats WAY faster then Ovechkin, regardless of who's better. There is more to being a GM than picking who you think is the best player.
