Does anyone here feel there is a best time of the day or week to list cards so they end on a cetain day at a certain time? Just curious what you all thought.

I am on eastern us time also

Hope to hear from some before i start listing some stuff.
Thanks Robert

Hi, this is purely my opinion but I would guess that you'll be told to avoid having them end on Holiday Weekends, and look for them to finish when people aren't at work, so the evening or at night.
Hope that helps and I'm sure others will give you there thoughts and experiences.

Sunday evening closure, around 11pm EDT.

The note about long weekend's is also accurate :)

Even more detailed, I wouldn't list much for at least a 2 to 4 weeks now. With "The Cup" hitting the bay shortly, a lot of people are saving their money for that.

Sounds good guys thanks. The stuff i am listing is mostly "junk" low rookies as stuff just to get rid of it all. thanks for the inputs so far.

I would agree listing it on sundays... but i think 11pm is a little too late.. i usually list it to end Sunday at around 8pm.. as i think that most people have work in the morning and need to get some more rest

just a thought

Ernie (Dredjaw) will disagree with me

But

I too feel that Sundays are the best day to end auctions.
That gives the typical collector folks the weekend to see & bid on the cards.

I personally think the magic ending time is between dinner & bedtime.
What you really want is a couple people getting caught up in the heat of the action, and rebidding.

Holiday weekends are generally terrible times to end auctions - because most folks are busy doing things ither than scanning ebay.

Just my 2 cents.
