Since this is a new forum, this might be a good thread to start off with to see what interests people. It might spark up some activity just by seeing if someone reads what you do.

My monthly must read list:

- Ultimate Spider-Man
- Amazing Spider-Man
- Punisher MAX
- Daredevil
- X-Men
- Astonishing X-Men
- Batman/Detective Comics

I'm going to read the first 8 of All-Star Superman and make a judgement whether I should add that to the list. Also, likely going to add Uncanny X-Men since I need more X fix.

And you...?

Great starter thread - here's my pull list

Groo
Love and Capes
PVP
Dork Tower
PS238
Nodwick

DC
Countdown
Booster Gold
Robin
Nightwing
Birds of Prey
Flash
JLA
JSA
Teen Titans
Gen 13
Astro City

Marvel
Amazing Spider-Man
Fantastic Four
Franklin Richards
[blank] and Power Play
Mighty Avengers
New Avengers
She Hulk
X-Men First Class
newuniversal
Ultimates

I still buy a ton of new stuff however I am really a Bronze age collector.

Moderns

DD
ASM
Conan
Jonah Hex
Usagi Yojimbo
New Avengers
Detective
Batman
Nightwing
Hulk (probably going to drop it soon)
She Hulk (series is ending now)
Wizard
Ultimate Spiderman

+ a ton of other junk. I usually buy the first 2 issues of every new title that starts + a pile of one shots.

I'm not a huge active reader anymore, but I have the first 7 or 8 books of the Ultimate X-Men series. I haven't had time to go pick up the newer ones yet, though.

It's tapered considerably in recent years. However:
Immortal Iron Fist
PS238
Powers
Fear Agent
The Boys

That's all I actively pick up month to month right now. Five years ago, that list was 30 books long. I'm also following the World War Hulk storyline. Yeah, it might be stupid but I've been wanting to see Hulk cut loose on the self-declared monitors of superherodom for quite some time.

I also tend to buy a lot of trades. I'm not patient enough to follow a lot of stuff month-to-month. I'd rather just buy a trade and read it.

Ordered the Daredevil TPB's last night. If they're as good as you say, I may have a regular monthly title again :D

Steve- I've been wanthing to check out Immortal Iron Fist now because its being currently written by Brubaker . I think they are at issue #8. Guys my favourite writer and he did something interesting with Danny Rand, the Fist, in Daredevil so I wanted to check out his take on him.

Chris- Which TPB's did you order? I'll see if you need to know something going in.

Yup, those are the exact 3 I would recommend to anybody. It's essentially 1 big event. I suggest reading each arc in 1 sitting though... to be honest I don't know how anyone could put them down in mid-read anyways.

Let me know when you've read them.

Oh and you probably have to know that in Daredevil #50, DD beat the crap out of Fisk/the Kingpin almost killing him infront of the "underground" mob world and declared himself the new Kingpin. They now take orders from him. I'm sure they allude to that quite a bit.

Daredevil was being portrayed by the Iron Fist for a while, yes?

And you should definitely pick up the current series. Brubaker and Fraction are delivering an immensely entertaining read.

My pull list is small:

The Boys (the most awesome book since Preacher)
JLA
JSA
Countdown
Green Lantern
GL Corp
Gen 13
Runaways

and there's usually 1 or 2 minis going at any time that i'm reading.

going thru the trades for Walking Dead and Y: The Last Man right now.

How's Booster Gold? I picked up the 1st issue and will give it a read.

I'm not very familiar with the character though.

He got revived in the DC 52 series. It will take a few issues for me to decide if i will continue to collect it or drop it.

I like Booster Gold so far.

It's a good vehicle for him as a B character. He's got to stay in the shadows and the time travel/alternate earth aspects of having to work with Rip Hunter should allow for some cool x-overs.

Looking forward to next month's issue with Jonah Hex.
