What to collect?

Hey guys,

I've decided to basically start over. I have way to much on the go and no idea what my direction is when it comes to collecting. So I'm going to sell everything off and start from scratch. That being said I am looking for some suggestions on what is good to collect. I realise everyone is different so here are some of my interests:

Set collector (love the thought of completing master sets)
Not a fan of serial numbers (if a card is numbered I only collect 001/xxx)
Only collect coloured swatches. Don't have to be multi, but they can't be white.
I lean towards older stuff. I feel like something from 02-03 will be my focus.

Please feel free to send any suggestions. It doesn't have to be one specific set. It can be a whole year (i.e. all sets from 02-03) or a specific company or brand (i.e. all years of Between the Pipes). I'm just looking to see what you guys think before I make a decision and try to do this right!

How about the BAP Jerseys from early 2000s?
They are not numbered, are harder to find jersey cards, can be a fun set to put together, but I dont know about their usual swatches sorry.

Also the Parkhurst, P. Retro and P. Rookie Jersey Sets are cool too

Some jersey sets from 02-03 and 03-04 Pacific products are fun and affordable. I completed the jersey set from Exclusive 02-03, and I'm only missing the Brodeur to finish the set from Pacific 03-04
