Got an internal debate going on a trade i'm making with a guy on Facebook, and wanted to get an opinion or two.

I'm sending:
01-02 Parkhurst (BAP Update) Team-mates Tri-jersey of Jagr, Hasek and Kaberle (books $60) and a jersey/patch of Sundin from 07-08 SPx (books $30).

He's offering one of two packages in return:

97-98 Studio 8x10 silhouette of Selanne is in either one (books $5)

package 1 is the 08-09 H&P Selanne jersey gold #/10 (obviously doesn't book, but i'd figure it to be worth around $80)

package 2 is a UM7 Hawerchuk glove piece (books $30), a BTP Tiny Thompson dual mem (books $25) and a TBD other jersey or auto booking between $20 and $30.

Obviously the Selanne would be a cornerstone in my collection, but it is a one-color JSY piece, and the chance to own not only a Hawerchuk UM card, but also a very vintage memorabilia piece is extremely intriguing.

Thoughts?

I would take the Selanne cards for the PC. It is always nice to add a #/10 GU piece to a collection... Throw BV out the window because it doesn't meen much. That plus if you ran into a few other hardcore Selanne collectors on the bay for a card like that we both know it could fetch a nice price. My $.02... Mike

Why not take #2 and then try to expand the trade out a little bit more to include the Selanne as well...maybe removing the "TBD" auto since you don't know what it is yet and adding that 30 BV into the mix against the H&P card?

Well, I've decided to go for the Selanne. The Thompson is really a card that I'm going to try for down the line someway somehow, but he has a few different ITG cards on the market so idon't mind being patient on it.

thanks for the advice guys!
