Today I received a Limited Logos of Eric Lindros from this year's Cup. I noticed right away that the Jersey is an RBK Edge 2.0 style jersey and not one that Lindros would have worn while playing for the Rangers. This is the first card that I have ever had that I knew was flat out incorrect and the jersey was not worn by my player.
If you were in my position what would you? I would love to hear some input on what everyone else would do.
As for my plan of action, I don't think it is fair to ask for a refund from the seller and I certainly do not think it is right to just pass this card off to the next collector. I think the proper thing to do is contact Upper Deck requesting them to correct this as I believe this is their error and they should be held responsible for it. This card was listed within days of release so I don't believe that we have a repatch situation, and there are other copies of this card with the same incorrect jersey style on the market currently.
So, my last question is does anyone have a good contact at Upper Deck? I am not sure sending an email through the general customer service box will see results.
