I don't think the MTO would sell for less than about $200... Although a redeemed version (regardless of player listed) would likely have a hard time topping $100

I'd agree with the $200ish price. If I were a goalie collector & had some favorite players on that list it would be pretty rad to have a custom card made up

Yup. When It was first listed I sent a $175 offer. His/her counter was like $10 or $20 less then the BIN lol. I guess my offer was insulting.

I sold mine for $400 last year and I am not a dealer. I would think that history of these cards will show well above $300..why is it /3? I thought all MTO were a 1 of 1..if not, then they shouldn't be MTOs

There are three of those MTOs inserted into the product.... so the redemption is /3.... but the cards are 1/1s. (Granted, I do not know what they would do in the event of two people asking for the same player(s) on an MTO that had more than 1 copy of the redemption).


Anyway - back to the origional post - $400 seems a little high to me (for a single player) as you could get a GU Pad card of any of those guys for MUCH less..... it just wouldn't be a 1/1.

$200 also seems a bit low, considering the following that these cards have had over the years. You're almost gaurenteed to get a premium piece on your card - and it will be something very spectacular looking.

ahhh. I see. Looking at completed sales it is funny to see how high the unreedemed go for compared to the redeemed ones.

I'll chime in here as it is my card. I purchased it a while ago hoping I could get it redeemed for a certain player. ITG couldn't do that player and I understand that so I relisted it. At this point I think I will just redeem it for one of the players on the list, just trying to narrow it down.

I hope this thread didn't ruffle feathers. I've never bought a MTO so I was just getting opinions. Who were you trying to get?

No ruffled feathers here, I wanted a Vezina but it was not possible. I might redeem it for a Plante or Sawchuk.
