What's holding up the NHL announcement of the location for the 2011 All-Star Game?

I talked with some of the Hurricanes office staff today. They've put in a bid to host the 2011 NHL All-Star Game. The league keeps moving out the announcement of the location. First it was to be announced right before the Olympics, then right after, then at the GM's meeting, then this week, and now the Hurricanes heard today that it will be two more weeks. Sounds more like the release of SP Game Used than an All-Star announcement. :foottap:

So what's the hold up? If they are worried about completion of the Penguins' new arena, then just slot them into 2012. I know that it sounds like the Canes, Blackhawks, and Penguins are in the running, but is there anyone else I'm missing?
