Years ago I had ESPN Classics and I dunno if it was pure coincidence but they seemed to play an old 80's or 90's NHL game every other day. I recently added that channel again (with Telus) and it's pretty lame. I haven't found anything outside of the old world juniors games outside of hockey. 2 weeks searching now.

Are there better channels out there that I don't know about? Kinda like a retro teletoon but for NHL games?

Thanks. :)

There was a nice archive of games that you could access when you used GameCenter on Apple TV

Thanks for the input guys, much appreciated. I do also have NHL Network so I'll check it out too. I've also heard pretty good things about Apple TV too.

The NHL Network has a lot of Classic games. You have to pay close attention to the listed times though. I tried DVR'ing a recent Devils-Rangers games that was listed in a 2-hour block, and then when I played it the next day it began 10 minutes into the 1st period.

NHL.com also has some a lot of choices if you sign up for their GameCenter. It looks like it's $4.95 a month. But they probably have season/year long deals that are comparatively cheaper. And if you have a streaming device, such as a Roku, you can watch it on your normal TV in HD. The best part is that you can start a game at any time.

I'm looking at their vault right now. I'd be happy to let you know if they have a specific game that you're looking for. They also have every game available since the start of 2007-08. Amazing times we live in, huh? 20 years ago, if you missed an episode of something, you were screwed unless the show had summer re-runs!
