When player collectors go MAD!!

The one that sold for $160 is a 3 color and much nicer then the others posted.

Well I can understand the frustration. I have bid on 4-5 Ryders from the same set (only 3 color ones) and I have been out bid everytime. I have bid as high as $86 but still been outbid, it gets frustrating. It almost makes me want to type in $500 and let it roll (I do not like snipe programs). I don't feel that they are worth more the $70 so I really don't want to spend more, looks like there are more collectors out there who feel they are and are more willing to drop more money on them then me. Some have sold over the $100 mark which surprises me since there are 35 of them and they all seem to be 2-3 colors.

it seems the multi colored patches are commanding a premium no matter who the player is......but everybody knows that any low numbered nice looking cheechoo cards sell big as well as others.
I think there are alot of people putting together that set and everyone wants the multicolord swatches......if you were to do a single colored set it wouldn't even come close to a quarter of the money maybe even less

Scott - I just picked up a second 3-clr Ryder, and when I get them both in hand I'll likely decide to keep the swatch I like better. That means one of them should become available, in case you are interested.
