Hey all. I have a pretty extensive Rangers Pre-WWII collection. One card in my collection always bothered me. Well, today I was searching eBay and I saw another copy of this card pop up:

According to all publications I have seen this card is listed as Bill Cook. The Boston thing always bothered me, since Bill never played for the Bruins. Here's his playing career stats:

Clearly Bill was still playing in Saskatoon in 1924 when this set was produced.

After a little research I found this guy did play with the Bruins for a few games in 1924... Lloyd Cook:

Any thoughts on this?

I had no recollection of Bill Cook being part of the Maple Crispette set. I suspect you are correct in it being Lloyd Cook.

It is really strange. :-D Sorry, for too much posts, but it really interests me. :-)

This is Bill Cook with no doubds i think:

But this guy seems as his twin, dont you think?

So the problem should be only with the team name on the 6th of V130 card. Luk.

Perhaps similar... But Bill Cook playes for the Saskatoon Sheiks in 1924. Were players from that team included in this release?

I suppose they werent. I have checked the jerseys and it also seems (from the stripe on the left hand), that the guy at V130 (nuber 6 Cook) is wearing Bruins jersey from middle 20´s. This one, as Redding wore:

So only possible solution seems to be your idea - Lloyd Cook. :-) Luk.
