Which Kopitar Limited Logos Patch Should I Keep?

Just received some redemptions in, trying to decide which one to keep.

First one has the edge of the chest crest, 3 colors, and 5 breaks. not a bad piece by any means:



Second card has the bottom part of the "L" from "LA" from the chest logo:



I'm thinking the "L" card is better, but would love to hear some opinions!

On a side note, also received another redemption and a replacement. Would love to hear thoughts on the replacement.

Redemption, pretty happy with the patch:


Replacement was for a 15-16 SP Authentic SOTT Triple with Kopitar, Toffoli, and Brown #/15. Card will not be made. They sent me an SPGU base card auto (sticker) and a card I've never seen before:


Really like this card and it's numbered to only 5 copies. Don't even see it on the checklist. Think i'm better off with this one.

Tough call. Initial thought was that 21/50 was nicer but then I noticed that almost half of the memorabilia piece was plain white jersey. I like how 07/50 is all patch from the logo.
 
The second LL, #7/50, without a doubt.

I am honestly indifferent on the swatches, I just think the thickness of the signature is more consistent and bold, no "hook" on the beginning of the "A" or "K". Also, the sig is also centered better in the signing area on the second card, it doesn't run into the serial number at all. I am super picky, but that's my feedback on it for what it's worth?

I like the patch on the 1st logo better although I agree that the sig is better on the second. As a patch person, I would keep the 1st and all of the rest....

I held that card in my redemption queue for 3 years hoping it would get made. Unfortunately it will not. I feel it was a decent replacement.

I'm truly surprised it took this long for someone to suggest this. Typical of the love/hate relationship we have on these boards! Buy BOTH! Keep BOTH! Sell NEITHER! HOARD THEM ALL! LOL Love you guys and gals!

I'm digging the 07/50 crest the most! Tough call though. Both are real nice.

Nice replacement with that auto /5. That Masterpieces set is heavily collected and is a real gem! So congrats on that one. Too bad about the triple /15, but since it won't be made I think an auto /5 is really good.
 
I would keep the 7/50; mostly due to the nicer auto, but I also like the up/down orientation of the patch.

Oh, and I think the Masterpieces auto /5 is a great replacement!

My two cents is to keep the second one. I personally do not like "Patch" cards that have Jersey included in the swatch. If I was a Kopitar collector and was offered both of these cards, I would take the 07/50 in a heartbeat. Regardless, it's nice that you have the choice. Sometimes if it's a low print card you take what you can get. I have a Taylor Hall Patch card in my collection that is 75% jersey with just a bit of the edge of the Logo patch. As far as patches go- I HATE it. Problem is it's /5 and it's the only one I've ever seen, so it's gladly in my collection.


That said- it's your collection, make the choice you feel best with and nice pickups.
 
My vote goes to #21. I always preferred swatches that are cut from the edge of the patches, where the patch is stitched to the jersey. That's a weird quirk of mine lol
