Yeah, so many to pick from.
I've always liked Rhino as a villain, though he's not exactly the world-domination type like a lot of others.
As far as heroes, I guess I'd have to pick Batman. Or maybe Wolverine.

Should make for an interesting movie, I hope they get it right. It was too bad that this series ended, it was a great read.

Hero: Spawn--he takes the whole "tortured hero" bit to a new level.
Villain: Joker--especially after the way Ledger portrayed him. Can't wait for TDK to come out on dvd.

Hero - Scud, the disposable assassin. Close second would be JTHM or Jesse Custer.
Villain - Very tough. Gotta go with Herr Starr of Preacher fame. Now that's an evil, twisted SOB. Much as I like the Joker, he remains a four-color creation. Starr's got real-world depravity about him.
