Who to e-mail at ITG?

Hey everybody.
As some of you know, I had a very poor break of H & P on X-mas and decided I should e-mail ITG about it, because I only got one auto, and one insert, where I know for a fact I should have got more than one insert (I thought 3 or 4 would be normal and 2 auto's is normal.) Anyways, the e-mail address on the ITG site is [email protected] or something like that. Does this one actually work? Or is there a better one, that I could get a faster reply using.

Pretty sure it's only 1 Game-used and 2 autos{thats all I got in my boxes}.Go back through all the cards because more than likely the second auto is stuck to a base card.It's happened alot.

Got stiffed heh.

the info one or their customer service one (likely one in the same) is the fastest option.
Still a stat holiday up here today I believe, so might not get a response until wed/thurs/friday (holiday backup)
but they're usually pretty quick.
 
Actually, you do only get 2 inserts per box (so you weren't that far off). And it seems that 1 auto per box is pretty commonplace. One guy on this site alone got 1 auto in 6 of his 7 boxes (can't remember who).

I'm not trying to convince you not to email them, however, you did get 1 memorabilia, 1 insert and 1 auto.

Stated odds are only 1 memorabilia, 2 autos and 2 inserts per box. So although your box did **** (sorry to hear that) I don't know if its worthwhile to email them because what has occurred has been pretty common.

Well, like already said, I've checked...a lot...there is deffinatly only one auto there. :(

Well, now we can both complain about getting crap in ITG boxes, eh. haha
I guess I'll just have to e-mail them and see. Not sure how to go about it, never e-mailed a company. Can't be too hard though.

forget about it!!!!

I had 6/7 boxes with only one auto. I wrote a VERY NICE note to ITG Custoemr Service and got no response - so I sent the same note to Baron.
Not even the courtesy of a response.

Hmmm???

ya may aswell,
the worst they'll do is seemingly not reply.
Just letthem know that you were and are a huge fan of the product and that the box you opened didn't reflect the odds of 2 autos + the gu in the box and see what they say.

They'll probably tell you 'dems de odds'
Least that's what I would get.

Despite the fact they know someone at the package plant screwed up they can get away with saying 'that's over the whole production run.'

Hot boxes lead to dead boxes, and when there's 8 autos in one box, you end up with 6 boxes that are short.

but I'd email em and see what they say.
Like i say, worst that'll happen is they'll not reply or send you the form reply 'production run'

youre guaranteed 1 game used per box the autos are inserted at 2 per box on average, some people got boxes with more than 2 autos, others got boxes with one

i dont think itg is gonna do anything about it as they dont guarantee 2 autos per box but it doenst hurt to write to them
 
i used the e-mail addy - [email protected] since i too am rather disgruntled with ITG right now. the last couple of times i've e-mailed them with concerns, they were at least responded to. one incident required several messages in each direction.

concerning this latest incident, i emailed them sunday and then again today. today's e-mail was the one that was responded to. i hope that helps. good luck.
 
Wes, I talked to Baron directly at the ITG booth during the Fall Expo and he indicated that receiving two autographs in one box is not guaranteed. They fall 2 / box on average only. Good luck with your email.

Thanks for all the help. If they can't do anything about the auto's, maybe they will atleast do something about the inserts. I mean, it's not a big deal, but it's more the principle of it, I guess.
I'm going to e-mail them now and when/if they reply I will let you all know.

I understood the odds were not guarenteed. And I have no problem with that.
In my case - the 7 boxes were from 2 dealer cases - and I do have a problem with that distribution.
But still - I have had more than my share of mojo from Bap - so I told them I understood that it was still odds and I expected them to do nothing about it.
I explained that I just wanted to let them know that I was not happy - and I did it in the most un-assuming and polite way, no anger and no threats.

The lack of a response - sorry that was not what I had in mind. And for what I spend in the Hobby yearly and a good portion to BAP.......... well that did not make me a happy camper. Sometimes it is better to at least respond - than to ignore.
I am taking a non- response as apathy. And my Hobby $$$ - are following.

Personally - I have been in the Retail business for over 302 years as a GMM - GM -buyer - salesman - manager and an owner. And when times are tougher, like now with no hockey and a down economy - I can tell you that you need to fight for every customer. No response to a polite - and well written email is not the way to keep customers.

Well, for those interested, heard back from Baron last night. Basicly, he just said that it was an average of 2 autos per box. He explained that because of the packaging process some boxes had 3 where others had only 1, like mine. :rolleyes:

Anyways, I do applaud ITG for a very fast responce, too bad they couldn't have done more though.

Yeah, lol, that's what I mean.

Ahh well...nothing else I can do about it I guess.

I've only broken two boxes of ITG stuff and both have been crap. This one and my Original 6 one, which I pulled a Selanne Shooters jersey. I seem to have better luck with packs...they are cheaper anyways though.

If I feel stupid I'll probably buy a few more packs of H & P, but I think I'm just going to stick with Stajan singles for a little while.
