Hey all

I know it is early but what is the early predictions on winning the WS?

I can't wait to watch the battle for the AL East :corn:

Last month while in Vegas, I put money on the Tigers and Reds. So I'm looking for those teams to be in the series! :yess:

With the way Yankees are dropping left and right and the **** show that's going on in Boston, the East is left to Toronto and Tampa. Baltimore isn't repeating what they did last year. I think Toronto wins the East and I'm HOPING they can topple Anaheim (sorry, Texas is missing Hamilton which means they're missing A LOT) to get to the World Series against Washington. That would put the former Montreal Expos against the Toronto Blue Jays...hmmm...

Giants. Essentially the same team. They have better pitching top to bottom and more playoff experience than anyone.

As for who they'll play in the WS...

Blue Jays- remind me of the Philadelphia Eagles two years ago. Sign/Trade for all the big names but did absolutely nothing. Not at all convinced Dickey can repeat last season at his age especially since he's moving to the AL. I suppose you could say AL hitters haven't seen him yet so there's that.

Anaheim- Have a batting order that makes most pitchers not named Verlander crap themselves. You can't intentionally walk anyone in that lineup. They'll smash the ball everywhere and probably hit home runs left and right but their pitching is liable to give up the same.

So...I'll go with the Tigers. Avisail Garcia will be better, Cabrera is fantastic, and Verlander is well...Verlander. He gets bonus points for dating Kate Upton.
