Hi

couple of weeks ago, i pulled a Bobby Orr jersey redemption out of Legends Classics

so i immediately checked ebay for past sales, there were only 2, both selling over retail
450, and 479 US

and now there is another on, and it is selling over retail already .... 355 with 3 days left

i thought the retail for these jsys are only 350

why are they selling over book ??

Tom

but i found out something interesting

there is no Bobby Orr jeresy in the mitchell and ness site

I think the fact that they are going over retail value is also that collectors want the card. I know I saw the two Gretzky jerseys as a double bonus because I got a jersey and the card for my collection. However, I also got both for near retail but the prices they are going for are ridiculous.

Another strange thing about these redemptions is that people were paying 2-3 times the retail price for the Gretzky's before they even knew which team the Jersey was for. He had three different Jersey Redemptions (Oilers,Kings,Rangers), and until the UD Website listed a checklist there was no way of knowing which team the Jersey was for. Imagine paying $700 for a $350 Jersey and getting the wrong team. Mike

I believe there are only two Gretzky Jersey Redemptions (Oilers - JY16, and 1982 All-Star - JY26) that were released. I am curious to know how many of each jersey redemption was issued.

Chris, which store is that? Front Row Sports used to have the M&N hockey jerseys, but the quit selling pretty much all hockey stuff.
