Why no Crosby dual/triple/quad auto?

I may be mistaken buy why is there no Crosby Dual and Triple autos in any products so far from UpperDeck. The only one I remember is from SPX 05 06 with Gretzky but no others since. I read in Beckett that Crosby camp did not want any other autos on Rookie Update.

I think that is mighty egotistical of his camp. I guess it is his decision but to not want any autos with Gretzky, ORR, Howe, or Lemieux. I would love to see a quad with Malkin, staal, and Fleury. Maybe in the upcoming products.

If anyone knows of any to come or a reason to why this does not exist please speak up.

Rumor had it that his representation didn't want him to appear on any autograph cards with other players. That's why his Rookie Update card features himself with that cheezy "#1 draft pick" statement. Not sure why SPx was the exception to the rule.

Perhaps the UD reps that frequent the boards can shed some better light on the subject.

UD must think pretty highly of Crosby as jordan, and lebron dont get that right. My question would be, why not want his auto near those of gretz, lemieux, Howe and orr.

If it is in fact the case that Crosby (or his people) have made the request, then who is UD to not oblige? The other option is likely to not have any of his autos, so no multi auto cards seems a good compromise.

As for Jordan and Lebron ... they likely haven't made the request, but I suspect if they did, we would see the same thing. You cater to your superstars.
