Will condon YG's rise?

If Mike Condon keeps playing well, will his young guns rise in value?

Definitely no. It is always set in stone so that once it is set, it is then set for good. Even if he would beat all of Roy's and Brodeur's records, once the value is set, it is set.

No, seriously, look at what happened to Hammond. The key is not actually "will he play good" but instead "will he become attracting". For example, most of great d-men are very low in card value, because they are not "attracting".

He's got about another month to mind the net in Montreal. If he gets on a hot streak you may see a mini-spike but once Carey's back, that's going to be all.

It's kind of insulting though that there's so many $1-$3 sales for the card, though. He deserves a little bit more love than Louis Leblanc.

so - what if price comes back and gets injured again? no one really knows the future. look at when reimer's yg shot up over $50.

Or Condon gets traded and becomes an All-Star level goalie for team X.

Not likely. This is a guy who was undrafted, is already in the prime years for a goalie, plus historically, no matter how good a player is, if his rookie depicts him in a team other than the team he is excelling for, the value has a tendency to be less than it would be otherwise. Plus, team X could be somebody like Arizona or Carolina, that absolutely nobody cares about hobbywise.
