Will the Suns beat the Spurs???

Like Magic Johnson said....if Timmy is feeling good, Spurs win, if he cant play, Suns MIGHT win.......Duncan is the X-Factor, otherwise the Suns dont have good enough defense to stay in the game. Look vs Dallas, they couldnt make any stops, now what happens when they get stopped and then cant defend.......they'll lose..........especially with their starters picking up massive amounts of fouls like they did vs dallas, they have no chance.....I say Spurs in 4 or 5

I have to totally agree with paul here, it all depends on how Tim Duncan is, in the season the Suns only beat the Spurs once, but that one time was when TD was out and not playing, anyways that being so if TD is healthy spurs win, if not then Suns will take it for sure

This stuff about Duncan doesn't mean anything. Even if Duncan plays well, the Suns still have a great shot at winning. The Suns have stepped up their game so much in the playoffs and their numbers are better in the playoffs than in the post season. I like the production from Hunter and Barbosa so far in the game too. If they can contribute even a little off the bench, the Suns will take the series.

I don't think san antoino has enough depth. they have 3 superstars and a good defender in bowen. but look how good seattle did against them without lewis or vladimir radman. -the sonics had to rely on more of an inside game. but the suns have both. I think they can win in 6 or 7. it will be a good series though. it will esp. be nice if nobody gets hurt.

Your Definately right Qrich and missnesmith. I hopw JJ plays in the next game, then the suns will take the lead and actually keep a lead.

missnesmith - check ur pm's I sent you one almost a week ago.

Suns will definitely take it, but the Spurs will definitely be going out in a blaze of glory.

Why is everybody underestimating the Spurs? They have no flashy superstar but they play as a team with Duncan as the centerpiece. The Spurs won 2 of the 3 meetings during the regular season and the lone victory came when Duncan was hurt. Another factor in these series will be experience, in which the Spurs obviously have the advantage.
Parker will give Nash a run for his money, Q-Rich is ****in' it up throughout the playoffs and Bowen will be all over whoever is having the hot hand. The X-factor will be Amare who has been cruising playing against ****y defenders during the first 2 rounds. That of course will change once he runs into (a healthy) Duncan, who's one of the best low post defenders in the league.

Suns are the ones with no depth. Steven Hunter played pretty good today though. Q finally hit a 3, his first in the past three games. It seems like Q is playing like **** but its only because he has not been hitting his threes. He really isn't playing that bad since he's still averaging 10+ ppg in the playoffs and he's had some great rebounding games and some good defensive stops. Also, the Suns almost won today and Shawn Marion only had 2 points. Its not like anyone even played some great D against him, he just didn't play well. And Duncan played fine today with his "hurt" ankle. Looking at Game 1, I think the Suns will for sure win the series. Horry and Barry combined for like 30+ off the bench and you know that **** ain't gonna happen again. Once JJ gets back its over for the Spurs which will most likely be the next game in the series.

Amare can take Duncan any day
Although I'm marking for the Suns this series, I must say that this statement is false by many, many, many, MANY angles. Duncan is da man. Amare does what he does because he has a great team around him. Sure, he's pretty darned good, but he's no Tim Duncan by any means.

Well, since there are 5 starters, if 3 are superstars and there is one very good defender, that sounds like a pretty darn good team.

I said they aren't deep enough, meaning their bench is completely unpredictable. They may have more experience, but I think the suns have more talent to work with.

That post is so ironic it's hilarious....

well they kinda s***ed when they played seattle. they may have had a good nite tonight... but still too unpredictable.

glad I could make you laugh Barg. of course, if you think that's so funny, you are probably easily amused.

Watching your posts that don't make any sense at all makes me laugh as well. I'm sure you'll have a smartass remark about that as well.

But anyway.. the Spurs "kinda ****ed" when they played Seattle? Well they still kicked their butts.
They doesn't have any depth?? Phoenix has 1 decent guy on it's ENTIRE bench!
