We'll see come this self-imposed (by the owners) deadline for the players to accept a 50/50 split of revenue. If the deal doesn't get done I believe that it will be the superstars that hold up the approval of the deal. I think the owners new hard line stance is an attempt to actually get the players to balk so that the season can be cancelled. Only time will tell now; but it may not be long though before we have definitive answer as to whether there will be a season or not.

I was never a big b-ball fan but when the Sonics moved I really turned away - bad for sports in general to see this type of thing happening but it's just part of the deal now a days it seems.

Who really cares? NCAA is better basketball to watch anyway. Just IMO.

I'm with Michael Jordan on this one. These losers don't deserve the money. The NBA has become a joke...half of these guys don't hold a candle to the guys of my generation (Jordan, Barkley, Pippen, Malone, etc.).

I hope the lockout lasts the full year. Baleeeedat.
