I'd imagine that once UD gets back up to the 18-22 releases per year we'll see at least one of them.

I would welcome a version of OPC Premier similar to what they used to do for the Chrome version of Topps/OPC, kind of an OPC on prizimy steroids type feel.

I'm thinking that UD Black will be back this coming year, and the reason I think that, is there are UD Black golf cards inserted in the brand new Exquisite Golf. I'm thinking that I doubt they'd use the Black concept on a golf product, if they had no intentions of using it somewhere else in the other sports. Not sure what their license agreement is like on the other sports, but wouldn't be surprised if Black appeared in something else besides hockey this year. I think I heard Panini just got a football exclusive, so maybe not in NFL? Not sure if they are allowed to make baseball, or basketball?

I think value-wise Black was terrible and OPCP was terrific.
As far as as aesthetics I find the opposite, OPCP was just ok and Black was stunning.

I was not a fan of UD Black, two card packs and pretty much everything was manufactured patches. I did like 2007-08 OPC Premier though.

I loved the acetate autos/mem in Black but hated the manufactured stuff and the price. They would need to rethink things for me to be interested in busting any boxes of it.

The Lord Stanley Auto is so rare and never pop up on eBay. Anybody know what his card is worth? He wanted $30K and I told him he's crazy, that was 3 years ago. With the card prices where it is now today, maybe that's not crazy?

I have no idea what that would fetch, but sounds like quite the card
Lord Stanley's first cut auto (SP Signs of Tradition) sold this year for under $2K, so I wouldnt hold out for $30K

UD Black had some of the most beautifully designed hockey cards ever made (IMO)...those ticket cards are just a stunner especially the Autographed Duals ones!
