If they're unscratched/unredeemed?
I'd say aside from the big names, the rest will plummet.
I have an unscratched Mantha level 3. Not sure if I should hold onto it or just sell it ASAP.

If you collect the entire set of 99 Spectrum FX cards, UD will give you a copy of card #100 which is Auston Matthews. If you are one of the first 50 people to complete the entire set, you also get a gold version of the set. The Level 3 RC Spectrums fall, maybe one in every 20 boxes (can't recall the odds... 1:360 packs I believe though) and there are nine different ones
I don't know guys... if there are only a small number of unredeemed ones, they may maintain a premium for high demand players. We could be talking single digit numbers that go unscratched on some of the Level 3's. It's going to depend on the desire for the Auston Matthews card.

I picked up an Eichel Spectrum (unscratched) for my PC, but haven't been following this bounty business, other than to know it exists. How has the hobby been defining these cards condition-wise? I bought my Eichel unscratched, as I didn't want it altered in any way. Wouldn't a scratched off card be considered significant surface damage? I can't imagine one would grade well, or that a person would want a card that someone else defaced. Am I wrong? Just curious.

Obviously graders won't want the scratched cards, but there are definitely player collectors that will want a copy of both...and I'll be happy to oblige!
It's important to note, however, that PSA does not automatically reduce the grade of a card if it has been scratched, nor is the card automatically given a qualifier.
"Technically, PSA does not downgrade the card for having the box scratched off," noted Joe Orlando, PSA president. "What our graders will downgrade for is if the act of scratching has left any visible damage in the area."
And there's a good chance that rubbing a coin over the card will cause surface damage and leave some black residue. So it's not surprising that it's more difficult to obtain PSA GEM-MT 10 examples of 1980 Topps Hockey cards than it is of their O-Pee-Chee counterparts that don't have the black scratch-off feature.
