Wow...my personal opinion would be not to make that trade, unless you had a second copie of your MacKinnon. Though the triple shield is beautiful, it is hard to display and could potentially turn collectors off, where as a RC of a top prospect would appeal to larger fanbase..IMO

I'd say do the deal.
They have snap downs for those now. I have one for a booklet i own.
The one your trading away isn't a true rc and there are potentially 9 more copies out there for you to own.
How many other shields are there out there like that, that you can pick up?

I'd say if you had the MacKinnon /99 ARP then absolutely don't make the trade. But with it being a version /10, it's really a toss up to me on which you'd rather have in your collection, assuming you're not flipping and rather are looking for a PC card your'e keeping for a long time.

Are you keeping the triple shield? Multi-player cards are often in less demand than singular player cards and can be harder to move.

not a chance.....You will regret it, Mckinnon is going to have a monster year and will only get better, not a fan of triple or dual shields. They have been way overdone and to top it off the design seems pretty bland.

I think I would make that trade.......however if one of those 3 players flops it will bring down the overall value. Personally I like the Mack Rookie Tribute more.....good luck with your decision either way :beer:

I would do the deal.

Looks like Upper Deck is moving away from dual/triple/multi shields etc. so I have a feeling they may start to retain more value than currently perceived.

Plus it's a 1/1 versus a card out of 10, you have a really good chance of reacquiring the card again someday if you would like seeing as it is from a highly traded product and of a star player.

Plus you get a MacKinnon back, along with shields of Seth Jones (going to be a Team USA fixture on the blueline) and Barkov (Panthers have a tremendous forward crop), two very good young players.

I'd do it all day.
