WOW My nice mailday turned to crap!

Well not totally but heres the deal. I bought this:

I got it in today. It was shipped in a medium sized box since it came with the Jordan Mug. As you can see the seller charged $24.99!!!! I look on the package, it was sent STANDARD MAIL! With Delivery Confirmation which costs $.40, and the Postage cost him $8.89. I open it up, theres 2 envelopes very LOOSELY wrapped in bubble wrap. And I see the mug, actually I HEAR it. Its in about a thousand pieces. It was just placed in there with a few pieces of NEWSPAPER AROUND IT!

Seriously this guy has over 1000 FB and he sends something like this? Charges me $25 for S&H and doesnt even send priority or write Fragile or package it correctly?!


Needless to say im really pissed. Theres only one card I really want in the whole lot, that is the Forces #/50, but I could really careless about the rest of the cards.

What kind of email should I send him? I want some type of compensation for the HUGE overcharge on S&H along with the damaged mug which was part of the deal. The cards are in OK condition, actually one of them is pretty dinged up.

What id like to do is just buy the #/50 and send all the junk back to the guy and get everything refunded besides the #/50!

How should I write him about this?

Nope, for any insured mail they stamp it with the red "INSURED" stamp. This guy knew what he was doing overcharging so much.

Write something like I received these items, I really like the #50 Jordan and the rest of the cards, however one of the cards is dinged up really bad and before I opened the package I could hear something rattling. Upon opening the pakage I found the mug in too many pieces to possible count. I am very dissapointed by the way the items were shipped, loose and with only newspaper covering the mug. I paid 24.99 for shipping I expected better shipping possible bubble wrap around the mug or if nothing else atleast tight enough paper to keep the mug from breaking and dinging up one of the cards. I also noticed you have a lot of positive feedbacks and I was assuming I could trust that you would atleast write fragile on the pakage. I have done many trades in other sites and when I ship stuff out even in a top loader I simply write photo please do not bend. I don't want to get into a charge back situation or crappy email's back and forth however I would like this issued resolved. I am thinking at this point of only really wanting the #50 Jordan cards as I am exteremtly disappointed in the contents of the package. Please let me know what you are willing to do to resolve this. Again I trust with all your feedback and the happy people in the past that you can make good on this deal. thanks

You might be able to get a refund, but you probably wont be able to keep the mj card #/50...
