Wow!!!! What a KTFO by Rashad Evans!!! The rest of the show was just ok, but the end of the Liddell/Evans fight sure made up for it! Rashad Evans over Chuck Liddell via one punch KO @ 1:51 of Round 2!

that was one hell of a punch but was it necessary for evans to showboat when liddell is on the ground and may be potentially injured?

If it was the other way around, Liddell would have celebrated by swinging his arms out and running around the cage screaming like he always does.

Rashad just celebrated in a different way.

Not totally a shocker IMO. Liddel's apparent weak jaw has been exposed before. That being said, that was one hell of a punch. Evan's loaded that baby up from way deep.

I was shocked when people were booing Dong Hyun Kim, IMO he clearly had won the fight. I was also not impressed with the heavy bias in commentating for this fight.

Overall the card was fairly ho hum, and too bad sports select doesn't pick up MMA. I went 7/9 on my predictions, only having Franklin, and MacDonald losing. And in all fairness I only picked Franklin as a loser because I dislike him.

The biggest surprise was that I actually watched the PPV, but a serious of unfortunate events is how that occurred.

Was it me or did anybody else think Liddel looked gun shy. He stalked Evans the whole first round but didn't throw any punches. I knew he was in trouble once he was cut . I guess age is starting to catch up to Liddel. I thought Liddel would win by knock out in the first round because of his dominating performance against Silva. I still can't believe Liddel got KO'd.

WHAT DID I SAY? RASHAD EVANS, check the other thread about Randy, I clearly stated that Rashad would kick Chuck's *** and he did!

Just saw the KO. Looked like a case of Rashad unloading just a little bit quicker than Chuck. Looks like we are going to see an all TUF light heavyweight title match.

Sugar melts the Iceman, what a shot. Forest is next and I do not think I like his odds. Rashad looks to be in tip top shape. But Forest always loves being the underdog right.

Honestly I did not think that PPV was all that great. 3 days later and the only thing memorable for me was THE KO.

If you thought Kim won the fight, you aren't aware of how fights are scored. Theres no way he should have won it.

And how long have you been watching fighting? Since TUF?

Ha ha ha.

Kim controlled 2 of 3 rounds easily, and its no surprise to me the only judge to not agree with me was CP, who has no business judging MMA.

Kim was nowhere near in control of 2 of those rounds. He spend a majority of the rounds in defense mode. Majority scoring goes to the initiator of the action, not the person defending unless the defense results in damage or a point strike (elbows from the guard, counterpunch landed, etc).

The length of time I have watched MMA is much less important than the 10 years I have spent competing.

Well watch it again, a few of us have watched MMA for about 10+ years also. None of us had Kim losing, neither did the officials. But your right, I guess we are all wrong.
