After the season was canceled an unknown source with the nhl contacted us about awarding the cup to our beer leg champ. I was so impressed that my team pulled it off, we celebrated while skating around the ice and got to drink liquid out of a brown bottle from it (don't tell Gary we couldn't afford bubbly).
We went all season with only 4 loses, breezed through the playoffs with out a lose. We were in tough in the finals but we pulled it out 3 games to 1. The one we lost went to OT and then a shoot out. Anyhow all hockey fans can rest easy as the cup was handed out to a deserving champs. If any od the tampa Bay Lightning are reading this if you want it back you will have to play us for it.
