And I just picked up a Tyler Arnason out of 5 for 99 cents.

Don't know what I'm gonna do with it, but it's a bit strange the range these are seeing - $150 for a Koivu? Got some dedicated people out there.

Perhaps I'll just enjoy owning a really rare card, and try to forget the fact that apparently no one else in the world wants it

I don't think the bidder's realized they were bidding in US$!!!! That's just insane....as they say, a fool and his money are soon parted. I bet he could have waited for another auction and got the card for a small fraction of that price. Oh well...

Well, Saku is a national hero here in Finland. He has very dedicated fans and that also shows how much hockey is loved here. Saku "debuted" in Finnish elite league last week and I think he alone raises the attendances (English?) everywhere he plays.

Other thing is the strong Euro. Not long ago it used to be 1€=$1. Now that it's 1€=$1,3 it brings a nice illusion of cheapness..Believe me, I know
