Wrestle Mania 25

Just seeing if I am the only person not really hyped for this years Mania. I want to see the Trips/O-tron match, everything else either has had no build or I could care less. Yes the Taker/HBK match has had big time build but it has all been one sided for HBK. I have not missed a mania since the 90's but this one just does not have me sold. I was getting pumped when the whole Jericho/ Legends thing started but with it being a 3 on 1 handy cap elimation match means little to me. I am a Cena fan and really do not give a bleep about the three way for the strap.

What do you guys think?

My brother and I were just discussing this. We've both been watching since 1984 and this is the first year in a long time where the buildup has been disappointing. The HBK/Taker match will be fun. HHH/Orton will be interesting (if they're smart Orton takes the belt). Christian will hopefully win the MITB match (which is weak this year thanks to the inclusion of Kane and Mark Henry). Who cares about the tag championship since we have been seeing this match or combos of these participants wrestling each other for the past two months. Rey vs. JBL was on RAW last night so that's now a waste of time.

Don't get me wrong. I'll still watch the PPV, but I just don't know how much of a wow factor will be there.

McMahon has lost a step. WrestleMania used to be a BIG friggin' deal and now it's just another PPV. I'm not even nearly interested in this one.

Maybe also last year was so amazing with the Flair retirement that this year would be hard to live upto. Fully agree with you on Orton taking the one strap. Maybe they can pull off a face/ heel switch with Cena and Edge? Cena with Vickie = instant cheap heel hate, Vickie helps Cena win then he beats the holy heck out of Edge. The Hardy match has less build then even the tag team championship match.

I was excited about a month in a half ago when I heard a rumor that Jericho could be facing Austin and that Austin said Jericho was one of the few wrestlers he would trust in the ring to protect him. I am calling it the newest and latest member of the Hall of Fame is going to stun Jericho at Mania.
