Hi all,
I very rarely open baseball but today was persuaded to try the new UD product, NY Yankees Classics. The price was good or so it seemed and I was told that I would get a Mitchell and Ness pennant and three autos. I looked over a checklist at the store and it seemed like there was some good ones to be had so I said what the heck and commenced cracking. Well, it's only happened to me a couple of time before but I actually got more than what was advertised. Instead of three autos I pulled a whopping SIX!
The pennant was the 1996 series vs. the Braves limited to....1996.
The autos were:
Bob Cerv
Gil McDougald
Dave Righetti
Mel Stottlemyre
Phil Rizzuto
and a dual of Dave Righetti and Ron Cerone 7/100
unfortunately no cut 1/1 of Ruth/Gehrig/Mantle/Dimaggio but still I thought a very nice box. Hopefully some poor schmuck out there doesn't get a box with no autos or one auto in it but I've been there lemme tell ya- Upper Deck giveth and Upper Deck taketh away- usually more of the taketh away too.
