Years of waiting (any Ryan Miller and Bobby Hull fans?)

I was waiting for a Markstrom/Gudbranson 1/1(think it was a pen pals auto) for 10 years and multiple attempts of a replacement and I finally got 1. Prefer the Markstrom as it would have been a pc. but the shield is cooler. Hull is /10 as well and would have been fine with just the Miller. Honestly I thought I was screwed once Panini lost it's hockey license and when I made contact and was told I would be put in a long queue.

Wow, a shield just sitting there in their warehouse.... Amazing. I'm glad that shield was released into the wild at last! Awesome, congrats on the replacements after all these years!

Yeah I was thinking what else do they still have. I wonder if they offer up any nice hockey cards as a replacement for other sports. It'll be interesting to see if any new cards pop up on ebay. Did they finally decide to get all the hockey redemptions sorted it out or did I just get lucky?

I think luck had something to do with it, as it can be hard to get a response about a spor they don't even produce anymore, so I'd consider this a major win.

And yeah, it would be interesting to tour their warehouse for hockey and see what hockey cards are still lurking around there, either unredemed redemptions or cards returned late not on checklists, etc, etc. Would be sweet.
