Hope all is well with everyone. I have been gone for close to a year now due to a plethora of random misfortunes. :|
Divorce, medical, a few deaths (not me of course) and so on.
Anywho.. when I could I still kept an eye out for Labarbera cards that I needed for my collection.
Just my luck he is basically off the hobby radar completely and makes picking up his cards much cheaper. Altho I have to admit I find them a lot less now. I suppose people are not wasting the time to post them for sale.
First up is a few doubles. But still rare and happy to add them to my collection. Also Labarbera in a Ice Hogs jersey. :duh:
Next up a few little ones. The OPC retro is the blank back version. Have not seen many of them. Still need the regular retro and the base card I think.
Here is the Score set. Oddly still missing the base card also.
These two tie for third star. The Measuring up is the gold copy #/10. I have spent years looking for one. The Inspired Mask are case hits if I recall and have only seen one other and lost it. Stupidly thinking I would see another. :curse: again took years..
Second star..
Again only saw one BTP Jumbo Glove before and it sold waaayy more then I wanted to pay. Pretty sure they are #/10. With it is the gold copy #/10 of Prospect Trios. I got really lucky with this one. It was listed with BO and I dont think they knew it was the gold version. I have never seen a copy of this card before. :beer:

Have any player collectors even seen the one they need? These are the biggest whales for player collectors!
Never in my life did I ever think I would find this card. And the best thing was it was miss listed and got it for basically nothing.
I still need the Bowmans best version from this set #/5. Havent seen a copy of that card for about 8 years now.
But this Gold version auto takes the cake.
So that its.. after 1 year thats all I got..lol
Pretty slim pickings but big scores for the want list. If ya have any rare Labarbera cards please let me know.
