Yet another e-bay question "Featured Plus"

I paid for the "Featured Plus" ($19.95) as I thought it would show up on the front page whenever e-bay is opened up. That was around 11:30 last night.

I can see my auction, but not where I thought. Isn't the $19.95 fee supposed to give you that location? If not, what did the $19.95 give me? I am so confused

(It's a Staal rc)

Featured plus puts you at the top of the hockey card section of ebay. So when someone enters the hockey card section your right at the top along with others who paid for the listing.

But I'm not there...can someone check for me? It is a Staal SP Authentic.

Your right..your not there. Are you sure you purchased the featured plus listing? If you did then something is wrong. Contact ebay right away and they should get it fixed for you.

if it's #17/50 it's in the "featured section" at the top of the page
it's in the 6th page when you searching with only "staal"

Wow, That's really strange because I don't see it when I'm browsing on my computer. Weird to say the least.

I can't find it in the hockey section in the "featured items" when you arrive on ebay but can find when I am searching for Staal in 5th page as a fetured item

Ahh okay I get it. Something is wrong. You shouldn't pay $20 and not get the feature to work properly.

My upcoming invoice shows "Featured Item $19.95" so I think that means I did (unless there are different levels of featured items)?

I will try to contact e-bay...

EPILOGUE

I have now come to understand that if you don't have the category set to "NHL HOCKEY" then your $20 gets you to the top of your category list. I guess I am just under-educated in the ways of the bay

So, if you do a search on "Staal rc", then my "Featured Item" will be on the top of the list. I tried to add a second category "NHL HOCKEY" (not filtered down) but that doesn't work since the actual category didn't change SIGH

I thought I had read all up on it, but I guess not. Ahhh the sound of $20 flushing, not the end of the world, just disappointing.
