Young Gun Prices Help

This may have been talked about before, if so I’m sorry. Looking to get input on expected/reasonable prices for popular young gun cards. Im thinking about putting together these high end guys today namely to start;

Crosby
Ovechkin
Draisaitl
Mackinnon
Stammer
McDavid
Marner
Mathews
Eichel

Any others you would think are cheap but could be great pick-ups now before their price increases? I’m not looking for graded unless the price is right.

Starting at 05/06

Wow, I’m shocked at these prices.....

Out of curiosity what were you thinking these would price out at?

I was thinking for Crosby mcdavid etc $300’s at most, I mean they aren’t signed and there are a ton of copies available....the rest in line (Descending) with those upper prices. Things have really escalated with these young gun cards!

The first six you listed are already pretty pricy cards. The last three absolutely have room to grow, so I'd focus on those ones. In terms of similar cards to the first six, I'd include Malkin, Kane, Toews, Price, Tavares, Pastrnak, and potentially even Carter Hart at this point as well, as his stuff has gone up a ton of late. One not mentioned that I think is priced fairly low right now that has potential to grow a ton is Laine. Another couple that can be had for a reasonable price with room to grow are Pettersson and Svechnikov.

Ungraded?
Crosby's in the $800-1000 range.
Ovie and McDavid are around $500-700.
Draisatl between $150 and $250.
Eichel can be had for $40-60.
Haven't followed the others, bur Matthews and MacKinnon are probably the #4 and 5 most in demand YGs, followed by Pastrnak and Draisaitl.

These higher end Young Guns were undervalued for years and years (and believe it or not many still are by a good margin IMO) . A lot has changed in 2020.
