Nope he was under contract with Tampa until the end of their playoff run OOPS

I wondered when this would happen? Even when he was in Tampa I kind of figured he would end back in Motown in some capacity. After building a great team with the Lightning it became apparent this role would be his. Congrats to Stevie Y and all the Wings fans, a legend comes home!
