Chelios hasn't signed for UD for years...I don't see why that should be a problem now.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed Rush is no longer in the set...but Survivorman remains? Really UD? Is there even a market for Les Stroud's autographs?
 
He has a show called Survivorman. Basically, he is put into a survival situation with just a few basic supplies and must survive for 7 days all while doing his own camerawork. It's a really good show and he has simulated different survival situations all over the world. It's on a number of stations here in Canada, like Discovery, OLN, and even City TV. I'm not sure if it's on in the US.

You are barking up the wrong tree, I asked the same thing and he called me an "Upper Deck apologist" (despite the fact that I haven't bought an UD box in 4 years).

We'll see if this affects ITG. I'd imagine if ITG can get guys like Forsberg & Sundin to sign for them, it shouldn't be a problem keeping guys who are already on board.

ITG treats them fairly, and doesn't get after them all year to sign thousands of cards and stickers so they can fill out countless products. Having to sign for a handful of products instead of more than a dozen would take a lot of pressure off a player, especially if they're being treated well.
 
Well here is an update on the A.O UD signing situation. I just had the pleasure of speaking with Chris Carlin to set the record straight on this situation. Ovechkin was not the player at the all star game who said he will be too busy to sign and I did not push Chris to release that name. However, he did say that they are currently in negotiations with Alex on a new contract and hope to have it completed soon. Hence why he was omitted from some of these products mentioned in this thread.
P.S I know this board loves to give praise for other companies customer service but having dealt with Chris for a few years now, I think he is easily the best in his business. He always tells it, as it is and not just what collectors want to hear.

ya well i am used to it for my fave player, phaneuf never signs for upper d i c k anymore either, yay you guys know what this means. MORE SCRUBS yayyy

Chris is, was and likely always will be UD's best front line guy. He's been eternally helpful to me whenever I had issues. He's only one man. If UD was made of Carlins, they'd be untouchable.
 
UD's got two or three like Chris in the fold. Unfortunately, that's nowhere NEAR enough.

I can confirm this and it WAS not OVY. The UD guy told me It was a player with a French Background and it was an semi new player. He Told me it was not OVY or SID or Price. So everything is good right now
