Hey All,

I'm travelling to Montreal to visit my sister.
We've obtained "White level" seats for the Lightning game on the 26th. Paid $150 each. Anyone know if these are good? Did we pay a fair amount?

We will probably hit up scalpers for the Saturday game against buffalo too.

Secondly what are some hobby shops I should check out while I'm there?

Thanks!

whites aren't bad, they're the lowest of the top level if I remember correctly, expect to pay quite a bit to the scalpers as well for the Buffalo game. as for hobby shops, depending on where you're staying, there are a couple of shops on the west island part of the island, as for downtown, I know there are some, just not sure of where, someone else will hopefully be able to help you.
enjoy the game and our fair city.

The whites are great seats. It's the first section of the upper bowl. You should have a great vantage point of the ice as you're almost hanging above all the action. It's one of my favourite sections of the BelL Center

$150 is a bit steep but you can never get tickets at face value in Montreal.

The upper bowl section is also the loudest and contains the best fans in the rink IMO :D

It should be fun so long as it's not a stinker.

Have fun

Cool, thanks guys.

Its section 321, Range AA

Can anyone provide any other details with that info?

Play the scalpers off against each other, go to 1 for a price, see the next guy, and see another one. keep doing that and make sure they see you talking other the other guys, tell them what the other guy is selling for.
Wait for the game to start and go to the guy with the lowest price and offer him his price minus 20. worked for me a lot of times.
Got 2 Leafs tickets for $85.00 each, behind the visiting teams end, about 12 rows up

AA is great. That's the very first row of the upper bowl. You'll be right on the ledge looking down on everything:D Those are excellent seats!!!

I'd say you have amongst the best seats in the house right there. Near enough to centre ice, and like burner said, hanging right over the action. Those are excellent seats, and I dare say worth what you paid.

That weekend also happens to be the "Collectors International" card show - the biggest show in Montreal. It's at Centre Pierre Charbonneau, which is in the Olympic Park, right beside the Olympic Stadium. It runs Friday through Sunday, and it's the biggest hockey focussed show outside of the Toronto Spring/Fall Expo that I am aware of.
There are also often a fair number of HIers there, some as vendors, and mainly as attendees.

Wow thanks guys!
I'm pumped.
I'll definitely check out the Collectors International" card show as well.
Whos attending from this site? I'd love to pop by and introduce myself.

i should be there sunday afternoon when my son goes to sleep for a nap. i might be able to get you a pair for face value in the free food section. lmk, jack

Also going

I'll also be there at the card show and for the tampa & buffalo games. I met Jacques Demers last year in Saskatchewan and we get to sit in his season tickets for the tampa game. Can't wait
