I am looking for feedback on my bucket... something I just made. Does its format make it easy to look up cards? Does it load on slower computers?

Please let me know!

To be completely honest I think it is too organized. When I look through a bucket I dont always know what team a card I want will be from. Some strict team collectors will think differently, but when I look through a bucket I like it organized in a few important groups. i.e. Autos, Game Used, Rookies, Inserts, Vintage or something like that.

It just takes to long to look through all of the teams.

I honestly don't like the background template thing. Plain white is easier on the eyes. Also, it's fine to organize by things like "Jersey, Auto, Rookie", but I can't stand when someone has a bucket that's seperated by brand. Too much sifting.

as highly organized as your bucket is again i have to agree with the rest its too organized....i prefer the plain old jersey, auto, rookie breakdown

I may be in the minority here, but I hate sifting through buckets that are organized by "auto, game used, rookie, jersey, patch, patch-auto, insert etc" because I'm a player collector. I'd much rather choose by team or player name. It's quick, easy and painless. Also, most people that categorize by type of card almost always have cards that don't belong in the right sections

You said it better than I did above. I'm the same way - if I see a bucket organized by "auto, game used, rookie, jersey, patch, patch-auto, insert etc", I rarely take the time to open any of these folders. If it is organized by team, I check the Montreal folder. Then I check the teams that the players in my collection are on, or have been on.

You can't please everyone! :)

Albums seem to be better as high-level categories (eg Auto, Jersey, Insert, Base, or year, or set), whereas tags seem to be more suited towards the finer grained sorting (individual teams, player name, serial number, parallel version) in addition to the high-level categories.

I haven't quite figured out a best practice for my gallery site, but I'd like to think it's easy to search and navigate.

Personally I don't like buckets that are arranged like that - by teams. I think it is better and more logical to arrange your stuff by common categories like: rookies, gu, autos, pc, etc. That way people know where to go. But hey, to each their own. ;)

If you want to keep your teams just seperate the cards into the Jersey,Patch,Auto,Rookie Catagories and Tag them as you go by team.

It will keep everyone happy.

To each his own, keep it the way you want it. If people are interested, they will check it out. A whole bunch of ways to organize a bucket
